Depending on a patient’s needs, we can determine the time needed to address new concerns, ongoing conditions and medications or vaccines. It is also important to know what insurance will cover for the different types of visits.
We will focus on improving your health and disease prevention including, but not limited to, cancer screening and cardiovascular risk reduction. Also, attention will be given in preventing complications and progression of pre-existing diseases. Vaccines to prevent illnesses, Laboratory testing or radiological studies may be ordered during this visit. Referral to another specialist may also be required.
We will certainly focus on the current illness, but attention will continue to be paid to other ongoing medical problems. These visits may include monitoring, treatment, and diagnosis of concurrent issues.

Vaccinations available include Shingrex (shingles vaccine), Hepatitis A and B vaccines, pneumovax-23, Prevnar 13, HPV, Meningococcal Serotype ACYW-135 and serotype B, Salmonella Typhi, Cholera, Japanese encephalitis, yellow fever (currently out of stock).
